At Shrinath Optics, we strive to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchases. However, we understand that there may be situations where you need to cancel an order or request a refund. Please read our cancellation and refund policy carefully.
1. Order Cancellation
1.1 Before Shipment
Standard Products: If you wish to cancel your order, you may do so within 24 hours of placing the order, provided that the order has not yet been shipped. Once the order is processed and shipped, cancellation will not be possible.
Prescription Glasses: Since prescription glasses are custom-made based on your specifications, cancellations are only accepted within 12 hours of placing the order. After this time, cancellation is not possible, as the lenses are made specifically for your prescription.
1.2 After Shipment
Once your order has been shipped, cancellations will not be accepted. However, you may still return the product in accordance with our return and refund policy.
2. Return and Refund
2.1 Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns under the following conditions:
Products must be returned in their original condition, including all accessories, packaging, and documentation.
The product must not show any signs of wear or damage.
Prescription lenses are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect or an error made by Shrinath Optics in processing your prescription.
Contact lenses must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging.
2.2 Return Period
You may return eligible products within 14 days from the date of delivery.
2.3 Return Process

Once your return is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the item.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defective product or an error on our part.
2.4 Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable:
Custom-made prescription lenses.
Items damaged due to misuse, accidents, or improper care.
Any item not in its original packaging or condition.
3. Refund Process
3.1 Refund Eligibility
Refunds will be issued for returned products that meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
If the product is found to be defective or incorrect, we will issue a full refund, including the shipping cost.
For all other returns, the original shipping fee is non-refundable.
3.2 Refund Method
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider.
3.3 Partial Refunds
In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted, such as:
Any item not in its original condition or that is damaged for reasons not due to our error.
Any item returned after the 14-day return period.
4. Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is defective or damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item. We will provide you with a replacement or a full refund, including return shipping costs. Please retain all original packaging and documentation for inspection.
5. Exchange Policy
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product, please return the original item following our return process and place a new order for the replacement.
